MK Group at CERTH has released an iPhone application for ClustTour. ClustTour mobile enables an intuitive exploration of the interesting landmarks and events for more than 30 cities worldwide, making use of automatic analysis methods on large amounts of tagged photos from Flickr.

The European Commission published an article about WeKnowIt in the Technology Marketplace section of CORDIS website, presenting the WeKnowIt objectives, the project's course, its results and their impact so far.
CERTH made publicly available a library [1] for the detection of events in social media. The library implements the approach described in [2] for the participation of CERTH in the Social Event Detection task of MediaEval 2011, where it achieved very competitive performance [3].
The University of Sheffield has obtained a grant of £98,089 to follow up the work done in the Personal and Media Intelligence workpackages of WeKnowIt, as well as in the Emergency Response use case.
The project is entitled "Tracking Real-time Intelligence in Data Streams (TRIDS)" and is funded by the UK Technology and Strategy Board SBRI programm, under the call - Have I Got 'Views' For You?.
