The Networked Media Systems Unit organized the 6th FP7 Concertation Meeting in Brussels on Monday 29 November 2010. This event brought together the ongoing FP7 projects funded under the Networked Media and Search Systems objective, in order to  facilitate exchange of results and achievements, and build consensus.

On Tuesday, November 30, WeKnowIt participated at the Media Search Cluster. Discussions involved the three following main topics, evaluation, benchmark and standardisation and was based on the following agenda:

• Chorus + benchmarking activities (Henning Müller / HES-SO)
• Chorus + Platform / Wiki presentation (Thomas Lidy / TU Wien)
• Theseus presentation on evaluation activities (Thomas Sporer / Fraunhofer)
• Quaero presentation on evaluation activities (Edouard Geoffrois / DGA France)
• Petamedia presentations on Benchmark activities (Martha Larson / TU Delft)
• WeKnowIt presentation on standardization and benchmarking activities (Yiannis Kompatsiaris / CERTH)
