VIRaL tool was presented to the Services Department of Vodafone Group, that further initiated discussions between Vodafone and CERTH on the possibility of exploiting visual image indexing, retrieval and localization features in the 2011-2012 roadmap of 360 releases. 360 is Vodafone’s commercial suite of mobile services that bring together the user’s sources of communication (phone, email, chat and social networking) into his phone or computer.
