With a dedicated team of computational linguists, language experts and computer scientist, Linguatec develops innovative language technology solutions which enable people throughout the world to increase their productivity and communication. Linguatec focuses on: Machine Translation, Speech Recognition, Speech Synthesis and Natural Language Tools.Since 1998, Linguatec has been involved in 8 RTD projects co-financed by the European Commission in the field of ICT, such as VIP-Advisor, MOVIES, PANACEA, EASTIN-CL, PromisLingua and others, focusing on translation and terminology, as well as the integration of language and speech components into larger systems.

 

Project role:

Linguatec will be leading WP2. It will further the development of machine translation, Automatic speech recognition, and Named entities recognition modules.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Linguatec is leading WP2: Multilingual and Multimedia Content Extraction
  • Linguatec will be assisting in WP3, WP4, WP6 and WP7 – provision of access to multilingual content and integration of multilingual information
