SEMPER2016 is pleased to announce two best paper awards:

1st The Resource Action Language (ReAL): Towards Designing Reactive RDF Stores by Jean-Yves Vion-Dury and Nikolaos Lagos

2nd Dem@Home: Ambient Intelligence for Clinical Support of People Living with Dementia by Stelios Andreadis, Thanos G. Stavropoulos, Georgios Meditskos and Ioannis Kompatsiaris

 

After receiving at least three high-quality reviews per paper, the reviewer ratings alone were enough to shape this decision.

The two best papers are both going to appear on a Springer proceedings volume:

The Semantic Web: ESWC 2016 Satellite Events Volume Editor(s): Harald Sack – Giuseppe Rizzo – Nadine Steinmetz – Dunja Mladenić – Sören Auer – Christoph Lange

as extended versions, incorporating reviewer suggestions, experiences and valuable lessons shared with you during the workshop through questions and discussions.
