Dominique Bonjean

Director of SCAC. Associated with Prehistoric service, University de Liege.

Dominique studied Archaeology and History of Art at the University of Liege in Belgium. Dominique led a number of excavations until he became responsible for the excavation of scladina cave. He has developed a number of new methods for excavation and is a specialist in taphonomic processes. Since 1991, he has been the director of SCAC and is responsible for four full-time excavation technicians, and the running of the laboratories and exhibition spaces.
