In the final version of the Virtual Anthropology Museum, 35 scanned 3D textured objects have been inserted in it for a close examination via a dedicated 3D-viewer and in assistance with text and visual information. We have created a gamification system in which the more the player interacts with the virtual environment and its elements, the more experience points he or she gains. Videos have been produced for better communication of the exhibition. Moreover, a mini quiz game has been created to help player easily understand the “crime and punishment” thematic unit of the Virtual Museum. The experience is completed when user has retrieved all the hidden information in five thematic areas. The experience can be played in any Windows desktop, using keyboard and mouse, or game controller (e.g. XBox). An overview of this virtual experience is presented in the following images.
