Dr. Mounir Mokhtari, Professor at Institut Mines TELECOM, Senior Researcher at IPAL-CNRS/I2R in Singapore, and Associate Researcher at CNRS LIRMM Montpellier, received a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Human-Machine interaction in 1997 and a Research Habilitation in 2002 from the University Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris (Paris 6). Mounir Mokhtari’s background is mainly in human-machine interaction in the domain of Ambient Assistive Living. Dr. Mokhtari, who has supervised several European and national projects, has supervised 13 Ph.Ds in this topic, direct supervision, where 10 have been successfully completed. He has over 80 publications in journals, books and conferences.
