Claudio Bettini is full professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milan, Italy, where he leads the EveryWare Laboratory. He received a PhD in Computer Science from University of Milan. He was a postdoc fellow at IBM Research, NY, visiting research professor at the Center for Secure Information Systems at George Mason University, VA, visiting professor at the Data Intensive Systems Group of Aarhus University, DK. He is a member of ACM Sigmod and IEEE Computer Society. In 2011 he founded EveryWare Technologies, a spin-off of University of Milan, developing innovative mobile apps. Research interests: Time Data Management, Temporal and Spatial Databases, Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Security and Privacy.
