Video Annotation

Video Annotation

In VIA you can annotate video in three different workspaces opening as different tabs, these help with the annotation of the video as a whole, the annotation of specific shots and the annotation of specific regions.

There are two modes of operation when annotating video:

Normal mode: you can view annotated scenes and edit the region's annoatation data

Record mode: you can edit the region positions in every frame, you can even drag a region while the video is playing to follow specific objects.

Regarding regions, size adjustable region marking boxes enable the captivation of movement trajectories, simply by using mouse dragging and dropping.

VIA supports MPEG1/2 video streams with frame accurate playback.

We support these file formats.
