SSMS 2006 will be held in Chalkidiki, Greece. Chalkidiki is a peninsula,
69km southeast of the city of Thessaloniki. Sunny, golden sandy beaches, deep and picturesque gulfs, traditional villages and
modern tourist resorts, small islands and sheltered bays, pine-clad hills descending to the sea, Mediterranean climate and

SSMS 2006 will be hosted in Pallini Beach Hotel, in Kallithea, Chalkidiki. Situated on the Kassandra peninsula of

Chalkidiki can be accessed by road, or by air through Thessaloniki's international airport. The state-run "KTEL" (20 minutes from airport Macedonia) offers a daily coach service from Thessaloniki to Chalkidiki, while local buses transport visitors between inland villages and coastal resorts.
