Dorothea Tsatsou received the Diploma in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece in 2003 and an MSc in Multimedia Applications and Virtual Environments from the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK in 2004. Since 2007 she has been a research associate at the Information Technologies Institute at CERTH. 

 

Her current research interests include semantic knowledge extraction and representation, personalization and recommedation within the semantic web, semantic reasoning and ontology engineering.
